Wow. Thankyou so much for your interest – the first episode of our new podcast has been downloaded 100 times in its first twenty-four hours.

One hundred downloads may not seem like much of a milestone, but while we won’t be troubling the Apple Podcast Charts quite yet, there are almost a MILLION podcasts out there, with well over 30 million episodes online. It’s hard to find an audience at all, but in global terms we’re definitely heading in the right direction:

A podcast episode that has been live approximately 30 days averages 141 downloads. If you have over 3400 downloads you are in the top 10%. If you have over 9000 downloads you are in the top 5%. Lastly, if you have over 50,000 downloads per episode (again after having it live for 30 days) you are in the top 1%.

And we’re not exactly focussing on something popular like football, photography, fashion, or music.

An honest take on the environment and animal welfare isn’t something (unfortunately) on many people’s agenda. – which is why we’re doing this of course, because we think it should be!

So, once again, thankyou for your interest and your feedback. It means a lot that you’re listening to us.
